This is a multi velocity sample made from a Mapex Machete 14 x 6.5 steel snare drum. This drum is used on 90% of my records, and with these particular hits taken from the band 'Canvas' album recording, I absolutely love the mix of pop and snap this snare has. 

This sample has been recorded at The Ranch Production House and processed using the same analogue and digital processing I used when mixing the Canvas album. You can check out the full album here!
